Yoga for all Levels

These Yoga classes are open to all levels. You are encouraged to work at their own pace. All yoga classes are drop in - there is no need for you to book. All yoga classes are located in Liverpool City Centre. If you have any questions see Frequently Asked Questions or contact Helen Aldred.

Cost of Yoga Classes

Drop in 1 hour: £6 (£5.50 concessions)
Drop in 90 minutes: £7 (£6.50 concessions)
7 Yoga Tickets: £40 (£35 concessions)
Weekly Yoga Pass £15 (concessions* £13)
Monthly Yoga Pass £55 (concessions* £53)

Private or Group Yoga Classes

Private yoga classes are a great way for you to work on your individual needs and and to deepen an existing practice or begin a new one. You can also organise a class for you and your friends or colleagues at work.

These prices are for classes held at my home or yours, additional fees may apply for travel or rental hire in other locations.

Want to share the cost with a friend? Great idea add an additional £5 per person as my teaching is highly personalised. So you and a friend can enjoy a one hour private class for just £20 each.

Beginners Ashtanga Yoga Class

The perfect class for those of you who are new to Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga and those of you looking for a slightly easier yoga class where you can develop a strong foundation. A great introduction to Ashtanga Yoga for all levels and abilities with an emphasis on the standing postures. Benefits you will discover include increased focus, relaxation, strength and flexibility. There are several beginners classes across the week making it easier for you to fit it in to your life.

Ashtanga Primary Series

Saturday Yin Yoga and Mysore Intensive

Saturday 26th November

10:00 am -1pm

In these yoga classes you will look at the primary series in depth. A dynamic led class, great for beginners looking for a challenge and experienced practitioners alike. Wednesday's class will sometimes offer the opportunity to work on specific aspects of the practice in more depth, so if there is something you want to work on let me know. Fridays class will be a traditional full led Primary Series. A great way to challenge your body and your mind.

Ashtanga Mysore Style

A traditional Ashtanga yoga class as taught in Mysore, India. In this class you will work through as much of the sequences as is appropriate for you, this allows you to have a practice which is specific to your level. I adjust and instruct the students individually, rather than leading the class as a whole, so you get very personalised advice. There is no need to have memorised the sequence before coming to the class, as this will come with practice. Complete beginners are welcome. A great way to develop a home practice.

Ashtanga Yoga

All ashtanga Yoga Liverpool classes are taught by Helen Aldred and focus on the Primary Series, the first sequence in Ashtanga Yoga. It is a dynamic style of yoga, which will challenge your body and your mind. The yoga postures are linked by vinyasas (which means breath movement). This connects the postures into a fluid sequence, linking mind, body and breath. This dynamic style develops strength and flexibilty whilst calming the mind and body.
